No, it's not only Amazon. Read my first post in this thread explaining how high street and online stores have been price competing for the last month. This is just another example, so price lowering just competition. The reason Amazon have this deal is because ASDA has this deal. £329 for PS4 plus FIFA15.

we got:

plain ps4 for 329 at amazon and gamestop

ps4 + fifa 15 for 329 at asda and amazon

ps4+  fifa 15 + tlofu for 349 at game

 

 

so everyone who buy a ps4 at offical msrp right now is giving money away

Calling either company desperate is silly, but the term is certainly more applicable to MS than Sony (if still ultimately an idiotic thing to say). 

The X1 launched at £430 in the UK and we were told that the Kinect was an integral part of the system, so there was no chance of it being removed. 10 months later and the X1 costs £100 less and the completely necessary Kinect is now optional :p It doesn't mean MS are desperate, if they were then the X1 would be a decent amount cheaper than the PS4 by now, but it does imply a lack of confidence.

Nope Sony didn't bump amazon on the background at all... It's just a coincidance.. Smh O_o

Because MS did it, it was available in ALL Stores, this is just an Amazon promotion, AMAZON did this.

And people said that the PS4 wouldn't be below £350 for years. I know this isn't official, but how wrong they were.

I sincerely doubt any console will match the success of the PS2, or get close. The PS4 will indeed sell very well though.

That desp...finitely a good price. But it won't do much - not everything sells better if you lower the price.

I guess we have to consider that the "official" price not getting lowered doesn't mean you can't get great deals almost everywhere. It's always been this way and won't change in the forseeable future.
