Hey, it seems weird to me too! The best explanation I've seen so far is hsrob's; that because we're such a small market they could release it here before they have enough stock for a large scale NA/EU release.

Well this was unexpected. Seems like an odd choice, but I'm sure there's legitimate reasoning for it so that's fine.

The good news out of all of this is we have confirmation that the NewDS will indeed be localised, and that's good news with me.
