does destiny loot system need to be fixed?

yes 77 70.00%

no 8 7.27%

i don't mind using exploits 7 6.36%

eh 17 15.45%

Total:109

Yep, loot system stinks.

Though the queen shit they added today helps a lot. Also helps to break the repetition. That is the games main problem when it comes to loot imho. Of course you have to grind, as in all games of this type. But there's such little content.

Eventually they need to have something like Diablo's rifts. Something completely random and fresh where you can grind and not see the same few missions and areas over and over and over.

2/3 involve grinding which I don't mind...loot drops need to be fixed if it's purple engram then make it purple item not a combination of rare items

Sure?

I did have 32 Strage coins and 149 marks without griding... just doing bounties while played the Strikes and mission with buddies.

Like I said I already have request to try the new Nighfall Strike and the Weekly Strike today... I do the Heric Daily Story too... I just do the fun daily activities.

That is griding?

PS. And plays Crucible... yesterday I got Crucible lvl 2 just well playing it because it is fun.

Grinding is a term used in video gaming to describe the process of engaging in repetitive tasks during video games.

Bounties, strikes, daily, and weekly are very repetitive tasks.

Doesn't mean they are not fun, just loot system doesn't work

Re-playing the same missions/strikes over and over to get better loot is grinding.

The same?

- The Heroic Story Mission I do one time per day and everyday you have a new one.
- Weekly Heroic Strike I do one time per Week.
- The Weekly Nightfall Strike and Raid I do a lot of time becuase I need to beat this things... and sometimes I don't have the right guys together so we get us asses kicked (Weekly Nighfall didn't have checkpoints... if all guys die you back to Orbit).
- Crucible well what the point of a PVP if is not play over and over and over again lol... what change are the players and maybe 10 maps.

Griding for me is stay in a spot killing the same enemy over and over and over again to get a better loot.

Yes, if you have played that mission/strike before then it is the same missions/strikes.

Staying in a spot killing the same enemy is known as farming.

That exactly what I said... I didn't.

- Every day have a new Heroic Story Mission.
- Every week have a new Heroic Strike and a new Nightfall Strike
- There is a new Queen mission today
- The Raid I didn't finished yet so playng it over and over counts like griding when I'm just having trouble to beat the last boss?

Sometimes I play the same Weekly Heroic Strike to help some guys but you know "you only received reward one time"... I don't count that griding because I'm not getting nothing from it.

Griding means different things for us I guess.

Griding is like I do in Warframe... play the same Void mission until drop the Rhino Prime Blueprints... I didn't do that in Destiny yet.

What you guys is telling me is that replay any game is grinding? Like I finished Mario and after that I want to play it again.. so I'm grinding lol

Every game in the world is a grind fest.

Pac-man, Tetris, Street Fight are the master of grinding.

No, re-playing missions to get better loot is grinding. Just because you have a new Weekly strike does not mean its not a strike you've already played. Same goes for Queen's bounties and missions. Everything after you beat the game is just playing those same missions to get better stuff. I don't see how you cant grasp this.

@silentdj151 is contradicting @jlmurph2

When I replay a Strike Mission without any reward (because I already did once) it is griding too? Everything to you guys is grinding lol

BTW the Destiny didn't reached the end yet.

Destiny is a game that wants to be an MMO so badly, but does't want to believe that it wants to be an MMO.

And yeah, grinding has no place in games anymore. Figure out better ways to make the player feel like they've progressed. The second a player needs to exploit a game, you know that it's chronically flawed.
