I just can't catch a break, can I ?

Dont worry, we will here about the mobile streaming version soon enough

I was talking more about people reactions to this. Even though this is a potentially bad news there is no need to jump the gun like that. Give me a break people, The demo is coming in March.

Edit: I DO miss Nomura though :(

They destroyed my dream of the first FF to be a devil may cry-like game..... maybe I won't play this game any more if it is like FF 13. Man what is wrong with these guys , FF 13 did have is wonderful fantasy world this game NOT, and they want to ruin the gameplay so what will be left??? just a normal game that you could buy if it is cheap enough.

Haha, not until the demo will people start to quiet down on bashing the game. But yeah reading this and then his other statement about gameplay it really doesnt sound as bad as everyone wants to make it out to be.

I don't understand the critcism. Every mainline FF was a one button game. Except FF12 which was a zero button game that played itself using the analog stick. But suddenly it's a bad thing.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I was so excited for Versus XIII when it was first revealed. I was even excited when it was re-revealed as XV.

But I'm slowly losing interest. I preferred the city setting compared to the outdoorsy bits (even though I'm aware that's been a part of the game since the VXIII trailer). I was excited for the combat being an in-depth action RPG. Ugh.

I still enjoyed bits of the XIII saga, so I am still going to get the game, but they're sure making it difficult for me to get hyped about it.

Casuals have migrated to mobiles Tabata !!! Don't you Dare ! (I have the need to shout this to him)
Hopefully things go well.

L1 / R1 buttons for switching weapons ( even in middle of attacks ), there's absolutely no good reason to make the deck choose for me which weapon to use.. one botton for magic where the input is time-sensitive, hold longer for a stronger spell. Make the dodging real time, I don't want to be able a dodge every attack by holding one botton without paying attention to enemy movement. Keep the other elements like warping and controlling AI, they are great. Simple but requires skill and awareness of surroundings. Is that too much to ask for ?

I should be the one who's directing the damn game.

Not like I was expecting anything else...

Criticism because it will have nothing special. Look at the combat scene at 5min:04. I don't know how they will make you switch between 5 weapons weil fighting in air (like DMC) with a "one Button casual Gameplay"

I don't think it's the 1 button thing, we all know how FF plays, it's the terms like 'casual' or 'instant gratificiation'. Previous FF games have been about patience. You have options, select your attack and await your turn. See a Bomb, don't use fire and you've only got 3 hits so use your most powerful ice attack before it explodes. Your choice. This however: "It'll basically be a one-button action, and the AI intuitively outputs an action that kind of satisfies" seems to me we will jsut be press X to attack and the character does an ice attack without my say so.

Oh and I never played FF12 with gambits much, the basic few but I controlled all of my characters in battle pretty much.

Hmm, pie.
