Seeing as Insomniac's ENTIRE fanbase is on Playstation (like, 100% really), I'm willing to bet that making an Xbox exclusive was not the best of decisions.

You're alone on AC4. That game had critical acclaim and arguably the best in the series.
Titanfall was designed to be a PvP only game. A valid criticism might be whether or not that's worth $60.

Even if it wasn't on the pre order charts it could do more than 300K.
Also, it'll go up in the coming weeks espeically if MS starts pushing it, which I presume they will do.

It wil be forgotten among other games, if there is no interest now, it will be difficult to push it with all the big names coming
If they have to wait to push it to have pre order, it's bad sign... It wouldnt be the first game to fail despite marketing ( Fuse is a good example)

If its a good game, it could have decent legs. Definitely enough to push it over 300K outside of bundles.
You sound like someone that didn't play Fuse, because that game was garbage. Resistance 3 had decent legs even with modest sales at launch. Why? Because that game was actually pretty good.

I honestly think that this game would do a lot better on the WiiU. It fits the demographic. Putting this on the One is like putting a "hardcore" game on the WiiU and expecting it to sell well. I don't really think the One audience has the appetite for the cartoony look.

Being good isnt always enough to sell well, reviews impact sales mostly when they are bad.
Resistance 3 was a normal FPS, Sunset Overdrive is much more difficult to sell.
