You're ignoring the reason they went with Microsoft.

MS was willing to fund it and allow Insomniac to own the IP. Perhaps Sony wasn't willing to take the risk for something they couldn't own.

Perhaps they could have got a pubisher like EA to fund the project and go multiplat, but they would have kept the IP as well.

As the release gets closer it'll probably get some hype from MS marketing.

Also, Insomniac has put out mediocre games in the past few years. We need to see some reviews.

Bundles may account for a few hundred thousand copies.

I don't know, I've just had this feeling about Destiny and Watch Dogs and Titanfall and I'm tired of getting burned with these new IP games, I'll wait a while and pick them up super cheap or when/if they give them for free. (Overhyped by some of the Xbox community)


yep every single game released so far felt so rushed.

ass creed 4- bleh

infamous- lack of content(infamous 2 was so much better on that department)

killzone- hey you guys need to make a game to show off the power of our new machine

titanfall- no sp

watch dogs- downgrades everywhere

ryse- the chenge from kinect to controller was pretty apparent on final product

destiny- eww

the list goes on. next year will be much better without the pressure of releasing unfinished games

A game that has less mass market appeal than Ratchet and Clank and has people claming it will be a system seller for the XBox One.

It won't. The game will be good though but it is already being over hyped by the likes of Polygon.
