i hope so! i wonder if sony will announce a 9 million sold for TLoU between the two versions. we know its officially atleast at 8 million now.

We are all expectating a 10M announcement one day or another, maybe during holidays?

possibiliy after the holidays, its still 2m ~ away from a 10 million shipped+ digital announcement.

Since we had the 7M several weeks prior to TLOUR release, we have certainly saw about 1M sold for TLOUR. So I think with digital and more weeks for TLOU we are probably at 8,5M sold and close to 1M shipped... but yes they could ship 10M by holiday but just announce sold closer to financial release.

Destiny will continue to dominate the charges until October.

Fifa!

Yup! This week

Will be interesting to see if the PS4 version can top the 360 version in the UK

HyWa top selling exclusive. But then it's also the only new release exclusive, aside from that 3DS final fantasy oddity.

72% of PS4 purchases being Destiny bundle doesn't necessarily mean huge console sales. But I assume GFK keeps track of hardware without actually publishing numbers weekly, so if they specifically note that Destiny bundle is keeping PS4 sales up then I guess it's significantly higher than baseline. I'm guessing between 15 and 20K for PS4 for the week?

Gotta give props to TLOUR for sticking it out in the top 10.

Now is a 78% drop for a game that launched as big as Destiny an expected drop? I thought most people figured a less than 80% drop is OK, and a less than 60% is very good. Being in the high 70's suggests it's not a great 2nd week, but also not bad. So the Meta score and some of the complaining about the flaws of the game perhaps haven't hurt sales too much. If 78% is the global drop, and Destiny launched to 7 million across all platforms then week 2 should be around 1.5 million. If it comes in at less than 1 million for the second week then that's a pretty poor showing.

FW should be closer to 5m globally though ($325m revenue) which should still give it a second week of around 1m or more.

TLOUR keeps beasting despite many new entries. Should see a pricecut before christmas and ramp up the chartz again.

Should be considerably less than 2m now. They announced 7m+ for the PS3 version over two months ago and then TLoU passed 1m several weeks ago. Should be around 1.5m remaining.

So PS4 is holding well, this is excellent news. Destiny doesn't drop as hard as I thought considering the reviews. Casuals must like it.

Destiny should have sold around 30k all together if my math is correct. Hyrule should be above 10k.

[Week 01] 01 (NE) DESTINY (ACTIVISION BLIZZARD) - 417,100 / NEW
[Week 02] 01 (01) DESTINY (ACTIVISION BLIZZARD) - 91,762 / 508,862 (-78%)

PlayStation 4 (44%) - 40,375 / 232,241 (-79%)
Xbox One (31%) - 28,446 / 178,602 (-81%)

BTW the first week breakdown.

Destiny PS4 week 1 - 191,866
Destiny One week 1 - 150,156
Destiny 360 week 1 - 58,394
Destiny PS3 week 1 - 16,684

And 72% of PS4 sales this week come from Destiny bundle.

So, that puts 360/PS3 Destiny at 22,941.  Since Destiny PS3 is above TLOU, that puts the 360 version at a maximum of 18,141.  Using VGC Sims 4 numbers and the drops of 63% and 41%, that should put it at 8,336 this week.  So 8,336<Hyrule Warriors<18,141.  Actually we can narrow that a bit with Minecraft 360.  It was down 6% two weeks ago and up 12% this past week.  Using VGC numbers that puts it at 6,932.  Since PS3 Destiny is above it, the 360 Destiny maximum drops to 16,009.

Interesting. The Xbox One version of Destiny has done relatively very well in both the UK and US now

In US? There is a long way to know yet.

Nice debut for Theatrhythm!
