Honestly man, from what you described. PC does seem the best way, you can also get almost any controller type for it.

Just I will say while it does have a larger price range, PC does accomplish more and steam sales will save you on your actual game purchasing habits.

I highly recommend picking up a console later on in the life, for the exclusive, which ever list interests you. Could be the Wii U, PS4, or the Xboxone (however the list of exclusives on the last one, might not be great enough for you when you already have a strong PC).

Honestly just wait, let the library pick up and decide on a later date. Really and truly speaking, early adopters (I am one) are not really that greatly satisfied in the early life of the console. Infact at times you will not touch PS4, WiiU or Xbox One for a month or so.

It depends on what you want more (including quantity of those games). If multiplat - get Xbox One.

If Nintendo + 3rd party but not all - get Wii U definitely.
Hopefully you make the right choice.

"Buy an ____" ignore these posts please.

If you can you should try and get some play time in with all 3, play as many demos ect on the system as you can, and research the exclusives (past and present) then go with your gut.

Great post Seece, fully agree.

You said you're definitely not getting a PS4, so decide whether like nintendo games best and get a Wii U, or everything else and get an xone. Personally, I'd get a PS4. I agree the DS1-DS3 weren't great but the DS4 is a total redesign and feels amazing in the hands.
