We all hope with you but secretly, well we actually shout it out loud, take command! Just text her tomorrow: "are you at School?" if she says yes: "great i was looking for someone to have lunch with" if she says no: " damn i was looking for someone to have lunch with, maybe next time"

Its a perfectly normal thing to text a girl that.. No balls required.. No chance of being shot down.. Creates a window, then seize the oppertunity..

*If she says yes to school but no to lunch without a "maybe next week".. Well... 

Heh, i've been prepared through that. Actually went through it over Thanksgiving, due to a SNAFU with her number, so it's like i've already been there.

I was thinking of asking tomorrow. I think our Thursday lunches line up, unless last week was a fluke.

So I sincerely doubt any of you know who I am, but I've been around this site since its inception and I have one of the oldest forum accounts on here. I haven't posted in a very long time but this thread inspired me. I've read every.single.one.

First of all, regardless of what happens from here on out: mr khan, you should be very proud of yourself. You've made some great strides. You still have a ways to go, but it doesn't look like you're over thinking it as much as you could be. Women come and go, and regardless of how much you like this one, it seems you know that.

Second of all, Nikkom, you hit on something incredible. Back on page 37 (I think) you made the comment that no matter how the girl feels, until the guy is ready to "man up", it's not going any further.

I've been married a little over 3 years now and I've been with my wife for almost 6. When we started dating, I was VERY flaky. I really really liked this girl and that scared me. I made excuses not to see her and even broke up with her a couple times ( I didn't wanna lose contact with her forever so I still talked to her a little bit).

Despite all that, she had patience with me and eventually I realized how deep our relationship really was and that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. It wasn't until I 'manned up' and realized what I had and stopped being afraid of it that I truly appreciated our relationship.

That being said it looks like you know you shouldn't be looking for a wife when you start dating someone new ;)

To the guy with the ex problem: if you enjoy the sex and it's not interfering with your everyday life, and she *knows* it's just about the sex, there's nothing wrong with it. If she thinks it's serious, then you need to make sure she knows how you feel. If you don't, well, that's how dudes get stabbed by crazy women.
