I don't care if Destiny scores lower than CoD. I'd play Destiny over CoD anytime, even if it's not a great game.

I do enjoy the games in spurts, but the series is the most repetitive shooter on the market, IMO.

Games that just repeat themselves are getting much harsher reviews nowadays.  I'm currently playing DKC:TF and although I think it is ace, it is very similar to it's predecessor and so was scored down for it. As a game in it's own right it deserved more. Same goes for FPS that do not differentiate from other similar IP's/prequals.

Because he pointed out Destiny (a Bungie game) isn't as good as Halo (past Bungie games)? I personally don't think that's banworthy.

Anyhow, CoD:AW looks great. I'm thinking it'll score in the mid or high 80s.

Destiny is no Halo in the multiplayer department definitely. Everyone starts with a "one shot" weapon, supers are basically at least 1 free kill.... I've actually managed to get a. Killtacular with a super and a heavy machine gun... Just feels cheap at times.

Am thoroughly enjoying the story and strikes though. Already purchased the expansion pass. I would give destiny a solid 8.5. Really not sure what all the fuss is about online to be honest.

people are starting to learn how to counter the supers a bit. I will say the bladedancer's is OP, but maybe the rest of the class has less good skills so maybe overall the subclass is not OP? I would have to play it. I just know I play Titan and am happy to get 1 maybe 2 kills with my super, where as bladedancers seem to always get 2 or more.

fucking this!!! omg that ability is so cheap....you can take out and enitire squad in seconds with it!

Great games get low scores while poor games get high s cores all the time. 

For some hyped up games or games that are anti hyped, I still believe that a lot of journalists rate games based on what they think the average fanbase wants to see rather than what the game actually deserves.
