Well they didn't ruin Skype , oh were we just talking about games?

Very glad if they are buying Mojang. Like Halo they will make something even more awesome out of Minecraft.
OP: Rare is not an excuse, MS did nothing t Rare... Rare destroyed itself. But I guess it does not fit certain people's agenda that way :) Better to blame MS for that.

Kinectic Sports rivals sold 200k (by VGC) Viva Pinata sold 1.45mil and Kameo sold 320k. So what's your point, exactly?

The first and second one were a massive success. Obviously they thought this one would be too. However it wasn't and that's he they're trying something new if you were listening to Phil Spencer.

But Kinect Sports Rivals was a giant flop. You comparison didn't make sense at all in the OP.

I don't think you understand. Rivals is recent. I'm talking about Kinect sports 1 and 2. They made Kinect sports 1. They thought it was amazing how it sold and wanted to make a sequel. Kinect sports 2 they thought they finally got a hit on their hands and made Kinect sports rivals thinking it was going to be a success. I said that they wanted to make games that they thought would be successful. They thought Kinect sports rivals would be successful. What doesn't make sense? Now that they know it's no successful they're not making a sequal

Gotcha, but I don't know why you left that out of the OP. Technicaly, MS pulled the plug on Kinect (as far as support and advetisement) last gen near the end and comepletely fucked anybody working on dedicated Kinect games by taking out the "essential" hardware for the Xbox One experience. This crippled their sales even further, not that it was gonna sell like its predecessors. I can't imagine Rare wanting to do KSR on their own, knowing how little push Kinectic was getting.
