I'm about 1/4 or 1/3 of the way through Transistor, and I think this game is so sic! I'm hugely impressed. The atmosphere, world, art design, music, and story-telling are freakin amazing, not to mention the combat is also fun and deep.

This game had a lot of hype leading up to its release, but it seemed the hype just sort of died off right before release and after. I never saw many/any threads talking about it. I just don't understand why. I'm totally hooked right now. So far it's the most I've enjoyed a game for a long time (enough to make me pause the game mid-play and create this thread). 

Everyone's just waiting for it to end up on plus.

i heard good thing from the game last week, there is still people playing it and getting amazed by it... i think that since its just "an indie" it didnt got the attention that it deserved.

Agreed! I unpaused the game to keep playing after creating this thread, and I immediately realized I forgot to mention the music. I came back to add it to the thread, and u had already beaten me to it ha. Yes, the songs are another excellent aspect of this game.

I'll definitely have to check this out. My backlog is large as it is but I will get to this one day. Bastion was fantastic!

I haven't played it yet, but Bastion was amazing, so I plan to eventually...

I had to save up 7 years to afford a expensive console. Gonna take some time to be able to afford a game for it.

I actually just passed the part where that song played. Gave me a chill listening to it again. This game is giving me a(n almost euphoric) feeling very few games are capable of giving me, bc it nails of all the aspects I listed in the OP. I can only hope it continues for the rest of the game!
