Love this mind-set. We would all be living under Hitlers thumb by now.Can you imagine delving into the german language and no freedom of speech.
Yup, that was totally not worth it.
You know, the problem with terrorists and dictators is they dont know when to stop. They just keep going. At some point it becomes too late to stop them and then we get something like Genghis Khan. Bet those debts were really big deals versus genocide.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA, If you really believe that you need to relearn history Germany was already losing and falling back from Russia's advance's before D-day had happened.
Battle of the Dnieper http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Dnieper#Battle_of_Kiev and Operation Bagration http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Bagration are what broke the German army.
It is estimated that 1.5 million german soldiers served on the western front between D-Day and VE-day. Compared to the Eastern Front's over 10 million dead and taken prisoner alone.

For someone claiming to know his WWII, Germany lost because they were fighting a war on 2 fronts. That and Hitler's bad sense of timing.
Germany was close to developing the atom bomb. If they only had to hold off Russia, they could have eventually turned the tide in a tragic manner. Also, the advantage that the red army had was the cold weather. As they advanced towards europe they would lose that advantage and would be at the mercy of blitzkrieg. Lets also not forget that Germany would have great aerial advantage if not for the war with Britain.
The defeats in Russia stopped the German advance, but Russia would struggle to march on Berlin by themselves.
So, yeah, i think the allied forces were only able to win because they worked together, and touche to your BWAHAHA! Sad for you i know my WW2 very well.
