In the wake of brazillian market as the fourth country in the world in gaming market, and fifth in consoles alone(take that, random europe first world country), it's time to start track down this sales. The data is from GFK brasil, and is publish monthly by veja magazine. They only give us the ranks, not actuall sales off each game(like in UK), and monthly, not weekly. They realease some notes too, but i not this month, appeareantly. The numbers were around here for some time, but i tried to get a declaration from gfk about the official launch of PS4, X1 and WiiU, but so far nothing. So, don't expect them to start tracking next-gen for now. The rankings:

Comments: ok, a tragi-comic history now: before the world cup, the official game was supposed to be sold for R$250(US$110), but recieved a price cut prior to release to be sold by R$200(US$90). After the end of the event, the game is was easly sold for R$90(US$40). So yeah, a lot of people buying it is because of the severe price cut of it. About the rest on the 360 and PS3, almost every game was alreadly there before, so nothing worth noting in here. On wii, we have the more tradicional cheaper and popular games, like the ones from mario, and even a new entry: just dance kids. This is problably because of the vacantion on the months, kids on home, and etc.
That's all for today folks, but remenber: next month will be the BGS("brazillian E3"), and problably more about brazzilan market will be revealed.
"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."
