Most people won't see the difference between a dual core 2.0GHZ CPU and a quad core 1.6GHZ CPU.
If both are at the same price though, anyone would buy the quad.

It doesn't really matter, the damage is already done. ps4 is more powerful in consumer's mind and it won't change.
It's really not hard to tell the difference between 720P and 1080P. I don't see why this is still something that needs to be talked about.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Golf Club disagrees Oh, and Watch_Dogs of course |
Most recently released games that are 1080P on PS4 and are in a lower resolution on Xbox One are 900P. Alot of the newer games that have come out or coming soon are 1080P on Xbox One. The gap is wider then you think.

Can gamers tell the difference?
Killzone 6 confirms to me that no, seems most cannot.

"is"
"Microsoft" is a single entity whether it's a single company or a collective noun to be followed by "is." Why point this out? I just find it ironic that you are attempting to associate smarts with Microsoft while your sentence structure is not. Just saying.
Same people who say they can't tell the difference are the ones complaining about consoles {PS4} not doing 4k. Hypocrites.

@Angelv577 Actually is does matter. I think Microsoft has been doing an excellent job of UNDOING all the mess that Mattrick and Whitten did before launch including both of their departures from MS. Thankfully they put someone in charge (Phil Spencer) that is a hard core gamer at heart, loves gaming, listens to gamers, has a true passion for the industry. The system will sell especially if they both are planning on a 8-10 year life cycle again. Personally I want to see them both succeed as that is only going to make the industry better for us, the consumer. If you think about it, the PS3 was "more powerful" than the 360 yet they both sold well over 80+ million a piece. Its all about the games, exclusives, and overall value to each respective gamer.
Again, personally, I'm only looking forward to Bloodborne and 1886 on the PS4, all others I can get on either or don't care about where on the XB1 front I'm looking forward to Sunset Overdrive, Halo Master Collection, Halo 5, Phantom Dust, Project Spark not to mention Forza 5, Dead Rising 3 amongst others currently out. Just my personal opinion so I'm leaning XB1 as my next purchase. Besides, I personally cannot stand the Dual Shock controller (any of them and yes I've tried/used them in the past including the PS4 controller) but also don't like some of the changes to the XB1 controller as well but are far more subtle. Happy Gaming to all!

We wish lol. It really is easy to see, it's just since this newer generation that some people can't see it anymore. Go figure..
