TBH I dislike Microsoft because they devalued console gaming. Except the online play they have done nothing for console gaming. They should have stayed in PC and became the equivalent of valve. They nearly destroyed console gaming with DRM. They have very little cash and capable studios (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=125163689&postcount=7090) to made real exclusives. If they just stayed in PC it would be great for everyone.

exaggeration much?

He's right though. MS is the sole reason my life sucks right now. DAMN YOU MICROSOFT!!!!!!! ....

In Sunset Overdrive's context, exclusive means the game will never come to PS4, but maybe PC. Mass Effect was an exclusive, but when EA bought Bioware they bought the IP hence the game going multiplat. Sunset Overdrive is a "true" exclusive.

Nope. Its the truth. And I hold by my opinion.

its more like they nearly destroyed xbox gaming with DRM. XB1 was going to be a huge mega fail if it kept DRM. they wouldnt have really hurt the industry standards with it.

Wow. Your on a roll today ... for being wrong.

Why is it that DRM is associated with MS? Things like:

DLC

Day one patch

Broken launch games

DRM

Has been brought to us by the PC world when those developers jumped ship to consoles.

Because of the impact. Apple is credicted for revolutionizing touch based systems. They did not innovate it. But they made it popular. So as a powerful console maker their decision would have been effected everyone.

Microsoft's DRM policies would have only killed the Xbox. They eventually removed it because preorders were godawfully low.

I do hate how the term exclusive is changing cause if something is exclusive to xbox, it shouldn't come to pc. Dont get me wrong, as a pc gamer, I love it when to comes to pc but I just hate when a company changes what the term always ment into something different

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

The good news is that they won't be using the term very often. The larger the gap between them and the competition, the more money they will have to fork over to publishers for even timed exclusives.

Kinect is a very innovative piece of hardware; that's one thing. Backing DRM wouldn't have destroyed console gaming, and they weren't the only ones behind it. Microsoft throwing money around shoows they have little money and MANY studios have closed as of late. Why does the GAF poster single out Microsoft? They also currently have ninteen studios, most of which were created in the last couple of years. What is your definition of a "real" exclusive?

1. Yeah. Eyetoy was also innovative (or some other guys motion camera before it). The term innovation is blurry for many. It depends how people see it. It depends on perspective.

2. That guy says the truth. Nothing else. If you have something like this big againt sony and nintendo or other ones then please fell free to share.

3. As a retro gamer I have learned exclusive means exclusive in a system. Thats it. Nothing else. And little big planet 3 or forza horizon 2 is not exclusive. But if your view is different then I respect that. But I cant change my opinion.
