I would like it to be one to two years shorter.
Money i have to spend on new consoles is money i can't use on games
We will probably see 9th gen consoles as early as 2018, or at least announcements.
"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.
There will be cool games in the pipeline, I think, so, let they come. As long as they come, the gen can go on.
However, idiotic yearly sequels from Ubi, EA and Activision will bring stagnation so fast.
I say: let´s all buy cool unique games and boycot Call of Duty, no one buys it, let Activision bury the copies in the desert.
That will ensure good games for years to come.
