The price of Godhood is only $1850 Uesss Dollars

This is the PS4 offical price alone here were I live
And our economy is way way weaker than the USA ecomony, so we get paid a lot lesser in general too.

Getting everything here is really expensive, not to say the games, that comes priced as $90-100 each, ridiculous internet connection priced really high and the decent ones are laughable... and high end pc building is really expensive too.

Sadly not everyone have so easy access to this as you guys have.

Yes, unfortunately access is no avaliable to everyone, but by holding no allegiances one is free to any experices that may appear to them.

That was enjoyable to read.

Hmmm, you make some good points. But I can't agree. Some fanbases are better than others, and some are worse than others...

So you think that a person's decision regarding video game hardware determines how good of a person they are, or vice-versa? That actually makes sense to you?

Some guys don't even know they're fanboys. Weasel and iamdeath and that MaxKing dude to name a few were/are embarrassingly extreme but I'd bet they don't even realize it.

I don't think most people have even the time to play on all platforms. It's really tricky if you have a full-time job, let alone children. At least for me, one console is more than enough. Of course that doesn't mean you need to become a fanboy. But it's just human that you start to like things you spend a lot of time with. Me personally, I try not to disrespect other consoles, but I like some good fun every now and then. It's just sad that so many people switch to RAGE mode just because of a little joke. Like "I can't wait to play Halo 1 on my Xbox 1 this fall!". I mean, come on, even Xbox Fanboys must admit that's kinda funny. Stop being so defensive!

Anyway, it's not too bad overall. When it comes to smartphones it's much worse, because that's where the masses are. I just bought an iPhone some weeks ago and oh my god, my friends almost killed me. There were the android guys who said that the phone sucks so much, yaddayaddayaddda. Then there were some apple guys who said I'm stupid for not waiting for the iPhone 6 (like I would care, I needed a new phone NAO, because my old one broke). And then there was this single windows phone guy who almost begged me for buying some Nokia phone.

There are fanboys everywhere, it's not just gaming. Fast food, music, movies, even clothing. Like I said, it's kind of a human thing. And I believe everyone who says that he isn't a fanboy in the slightest way is kinda lying to himself. It's like those people who say they aren't influenced by advertising. You may not notice, but that doesn't mean it's not happening.

They are not "nearly" the same. They are exactly the same. Not only exactly like other gaming fandoms but also any other fandom including sports, movies, books, political parties, etc.

Except for that one fandom who objectively chose the wrong console.

I don't like Riku, change the pic to Sora.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Okay, once you use political parties it becomes hyperboyle. Either meant as a joke, or coming out of pure ignorance. Not funny.

Trust me, it's the same. I've talked to a lot of fans of particular parties.

One might think most people would support parties by the pure objective goals but it's not so. Parties flip flop all the time and yet their most ardent supporters don't care. They're worshipping them as much as some fan does his sports team. Fandom is irrational. It makes no difference what you are a fan of.
