just started disk 4, fighting in the backyard

@Strategyking92

You might want to consider Blue Dragon it is much shorter, and can probably be finished in under forty hours if your looking for a turn based role playing game. Beyond that picking up either of the Knights of the Old Republic games are well worth it for shorter game play sprees they can be polished off in just a few moderate sit downs. However I also recommend Bioshock if you haven't played this game yet. I think it falls nicely between Mass Effect and Halo 3.

Anyone have the slighting inkling on how to handle the alter or truth. I am finding it near impossible to take this boss down considering he completely heals himself every third turn.

does he heal himself with magic dodece?

Owner of all consoles cept DS.....Currently in love with prototype!

@Bingoo

Perhaps the hardest boss in the game if you could believe it. I figured out how to dispatch him eventually. First you must equip break hit to Kaim and Seth. Then you exclusively use break hit on the boss. Totally ignore the front row. Then split your damage between the two remaining foes you must kill them both in the same turn. Otherwise the one you haven't killed will commit suicide, and resurrect both the other suicidal guard and the boss.

I had Kaim, Seth, Sarah, Ming, and the obligatory Mack. I used Kaim and Seth to break hit. I used Sarah and Ming to use zephyra or dole out healing. I also had all characters double item skill enabled. I used mack to throw delay and slow attacks against the boss, and when I exhausted those I had him enact wall. The boss shattered all such efforts, but it does seem to cost him at least one Halbird.

My problem was that I had been so effective with combo in dealing damage that I had just taken Break hit out of my skill set. However you absolutely need it for this boss since you can never take out the front row until he has been dealt with.

Dang, I picked it up today, along with Brawl and Army of Two and I just can't get into it. I liked Eternal Sonata because I didn't have to fight folks all the time. I also like Blue Dragon, but dang, I am a Fable-Mass Effect fiend. I am not disappointed, but I am taking it back to Gamestop and use the $$$ to preorder GTA IV. Sorry, but I love real-time action, not the stuff where you attack - wait - and someone else attacks.

This is one game I just couldn't get into it.

Ah, I see you finally revealed that you indeed have no soul, Madskills. So thats how you have the time to post so many good reviews!

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Beginning of Disc 4. Somewhere around 30ish hours. Could have been 25ish but I sometimes move over to the laptop and leave it running.

Right now I have Bioshock just sitting there because I wanted to check some news.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

LOL, Mr. Stickball. Haha ... I am an instant kind of guy. I like to swing at someone and block it. I never got into the Final Fantasy games back in the day for the very same reason. Maybe I am missing out, but me no thinks so.

Yeah, I know it's bad, but I am having more fun with Army of Two and all of its mindless shooting than a polished gem like Lost. Maybe I just wanna roll around the block with an around-the-way girl for a few this time around!
