There is local co-op. I believe just not for the main campign. The camera angles in these kind of games can get quite wonky. So, you'll probably want to play the campaign alone anyways or online.

I would love offline co-op, if true. Platinum could always give one player the TV screen and the other the GamePad screen.

GOD! Freaking Nintendo you got an eshop, please bring some demos sometime!!!! It's frustrating. It isn't like we've waited for practically two years for this game and will be waiting longer for Xenoblade Chronicles X..... The last demo we got is pretty much a YEAR OLD! It's so frustrating.

Yea didn't they just say the co-op is online only in that Direct ?

Pretty upsetting, especially since the Wii U has the best potential for couch co-op :(
