I'm really not trying to be a dick, but why are people celebrating this? 7 million in almost 2 years is borderline abysmal. It's still tracking far behind GC numbers, if I'm not mistaken.

So? It's a milestone and some people are happy about it.
People were also celebrating once the Vita hit 8 Mio., so why not the same for Wii U?
