OMG this was all released minutes after I left my house. Anyway this is super cool, good to see them fully embracing DLC for MK8. If Link is the same size as Rosalina he is totally my new main

I stopped buying COD DLC because I thought it was a waste of money since there's a yearly release. However, with MK 8 I'll be buying this on day 1 of the release of each DLC package, if this rumor turns out to be true. I can't wait!!

I just saw that it was official so I was about to edit my response.  Thanks for letting me know !!  Either way, I'm excited that it's coming and can't wait to purchase both of them.

Seriously though, i think nintendo is changing and for the better. I predict 2015 will be a great year for WiiU.

Definitely a good way to put MK8 back in the limelight over the holiday season. DLC seems like a pretty good value as well. I imagine the cost will be 10-15 dollars. For 3 characters and 4 tracks, that's not too bad, especially since it seems like they're throwing in a vehicle or two as well.

My only complaint would be in the choice of characters. I love Link, but I don't feel he quite fits here. I would have personally preferred Falcon and Kirby as the characters. Maybe Pikachu. But that's just me.

Most of all though, this gives me hope that Smash will have DLC as well.

Eah pack is 7 pounds, which is roughtly 12 dollars.  However, things don't always work out to exact currency converstions.  I thought it was one cup per pack, but it's 8 which is even better.

Each pack is $8.00 american solo.  For both its only $12.  

Each pack has 2 new cups, for a total of 4 cups.  As any mario kart fan knows a cup is 4 tracks, thus 16 total new courses.  8 retro and 8 new.
