yes its a clone of a 7 year old game

i think destiny is overrated but much more overrated is that junk called Titanfall.

This is the only Destiny thread on the first page of the gaming discussion, and it's not exactly a positive one. What hype are you talking about? This isn't Titanfall. If you must know, the Beta and Alpha were very well received. Everyone expect the game to do extremely well but the hype you're referring to doesn't exist. At least not on any sites that I visit.

What does Destiny have to do with your feelings about Titanfall or The last of us? Keep it on topic.

I had the same setup of mind Before trying Destiny Beta , And Now I can say It is much more tehn just a generic shouter as COD. You ar playing something With a soul and heart.

It is a bit overhyped but I really liked the Beta. The only problem I had was that it felt somewhat like Activision was the one ordering a Halo/COD mix-up, kind of like how MS wanted a new Halo game every year. It is far from the best work Bungie has done, but it still seems great. that tells you Bungie are a really good developer.

And I still haven't pre order it yet. I had a lot of fun playing the beta. This thread just reminded me I need to pre order the game soon now.
And no it is not overhyped.

It's just incredible fun. Great visuals, great gameplay, fantastic soundtrack and good multiplayer, wrapped up in RPG and loot goodness. The story is pretty lacking, hopefully it's more immersive and interesting when it comes out.

It's got a decent amount of hype if you ask me.

I haven't heard too much about it since the alpha and beta so I don't think it's that hyped.

I agree that its wayyyy over hyped(by gamers).

However its still an enjoyable game in the end,over hyped or not. So its whatever.
