This guy is drawing a gen 1 Pokemon from memory everyday
I thought maybe I'd update this daily
I always enjoy drawing all the random stuff around my workspace. It accidentally turned into a double rendition of the daily pokemon. (A memory-mons first?)
I might have missed an opportunity to get a pokemon perfectly accurate, but that’s never really been the goal of Memory-Mons.
I just wanted to go into a different direction that showing diglett’s hidden underground body. The cat on the mug is a totally failed purugly/Garfield merge.
I accidentally revealed my talent for drawing perfectly accurate RTVs.
Memory-Mons, where dumb doodles sometimes go all the way.
Memory-Mons just keeps on wandering back to Mario references.
Paras, the tragedy pokemon.
The rain makes me question the legitimacy of this win.
Just visualize the person you want to be.
I’m also realizing that not a lot of grass pokemon ever hang out in the dirt.
I realize that most of my memories of first gen are influenced by the Nintendo 64 games.
A day after drawing this, I caught a shiny zubat. Hmm… Maybe I should be drawing more shinies.
Sometimes you gotta earn the tuff in your name.
Here is jiggles’ official new final smash. Just you wait.
Sometimes coloring schemes have a point of no return.
I remember throwing tons of those apples at these guys in the volcano stage of pokemon snap.
Substitute dolls work for friends as well.
Chalkboard inspired by the great clefairy minigame in pokemon stadium.
Nidoking and queen have both found their respective thrones.
Nidoran turned out real rubbery looking.
For some reason, I gave the queen a purse.
No seriously, I need it back guys.
I just like the way this one turned out.
Sandslash needs a mega or something. It’s too cool.
For some reason, everybody remembers that train.
I just love drawing pikas with the hair tufts.
I accidentally watched a video on arbok’s changing pattern the day before I drew this.
Based off the LA Zoo warnings of my childhood.
Getting it wrong never looked so cool.
This turned into a sort of unintentional Hunger Games things.
I originally drew him with a rat trap, but it got vetoed.
My wife tells me that pidgeot doesn’t have rainbow hair. I still think she’s wrong.
I’d like to think all these guys exist in an alternate universe together.
Yeah, I messed up. But I secretly like pidove better anyway. *RUNS AWAY*
I was so certain that it didn’t have the butt-stinger…
Kakuna is the scary version of metapod.
It looks like a horn, but everybody knows it’s a tiny hat.
This is one of those early friends in Red/Blue that you eventually have to retire. Poor little guy.
I don’t know how one of the most boring pokemon turned into one of my fave pics so far.
Memory-Mons is really setting itself up for future failure.
Apparently the shiny one has green shells. So I lucked out there.
I actually have the Y version, so yeah, mega-zard X is pretty off. The blue flames are rad though.
I put waaaay too many captions on this one; here’s one more!
Charmander just wants hugs.
My tournament run ended thanks to this guy. But we’re friends now.
I think I missed coloring a few spots on his back
Here is the very first candidate for Memory-Mons, bulbasaur. It turns out, he doesn’t have cat ears.
