If the whole case today would have been a problem for only an hour and without all these crazy tweets from these twitter guys the topic would be already done and this thread would have probably only a tenth of the posts.


It pretty much did last only an hour, or at least it lasted just as long as MS's downtime. Psn is back up as we speak. Its still being talked about because of all the tweets and the plane diversion. The occasional dedicated fan will pop in tho not knowing what's going on will bash Sony. When it happened to MS I didn't see Sony fans bashing them. If you want to find old threads with it be my guest and I would believe you, but again I didn't see it. All I can speak about for sure is what's happening today.

UPDATE 2: Member of Lizard Squad claims to have retrieved data from Sony's Datacenter.

Not sure if that was there when you wrote this but that would imply that they did hack into it as well as do a DDos attack.

When a friend told me about this, I just had to check it. I was angry, but now that I think of it, I just ended up feeling sorry for these small group of fellows, especially for the reason behind the attack. At least this small group has showed the world how pathetic they are. I just hope they get dealt with swiftly.

They are most likely just lying. After all they are probably just taking credit of the DDoS attack. Not to mention the netowrk was down for only a short time and it would be impossible for them to gain access to the servers from the outside while the attack was going on.

What they say isn't true tho, because again it's impossible to get into the network from the outside during a DDoS attack. At best they are a bunch of script kiddies.

The more I read about these trolls/hackers, the more I would like them to die horribly rather than see them in a cell (I know, its cruel, but these guys represent the lowest of the low of humanity), honestly, if this is what you would like to accomplish or do for your day, you must absolutely have no life or just are a sadistic individual.
