One could basically make this thread about any of the big 3, people are almost always shying away from certain games for reasons that don't always have to make sense.

But to answer your question in the OP: Zelda, always Zelda. It's easily the best Nintendo franchise out there, imo and one where I'm not ashamed to say that I'm envious of the Nintendo systems having those games. If Sony (or anyone else for that matter) tried to make something that is extremely close to Zelda and bring it out on the PS4 and actually managed to pull it off well, I'd be ecstatic no matter how many people would go on about "Sony just copying Nintendo again".

Another reason i like Nintendo, you can play their AA games and not worry about foul language, or nightmare inducing scenes.
I have 2 girls that love to watch me play video games, I am normally limited to what i can play in front of them, because I actually follow the ratings board for movies, and games.
Yes, I'm sure my kids hear foul language outside the house, but i do not curse in my house or let them watch movies rated for them. they have the rest of their life to be bombarded with it, just trying to have them enjoy their childhood.

If you have a list with stupid reasons that people do on every Sony or MS thread... then go ahead

They have only recently started to venture outside of established franchises (Bayonetta, Devil's third, splatoon) so depending on how those game do and other new IPs, I will consider getting a Wii U. I have everything I need on my PS4 and Vita (mainly for RPGs)

Pokemon and Metroid are my favorites. I also like Zelda and certain Mario titles.

I think that's kind of his point. You'd be extremely happy to get a Zelda experience that is not Nintendo. You like the franchise but would rather get it from a non-Nintendo source. What are your reasons for wanting it not to be from Nintendo, just so it can be on PS4?

Many people just don't have disposable income to purchase more than one console (or time to enjoy it), so expending 300+ for a Wii U and 1 game just does not make sense, they just have to choose which one to purchase and Nintendo is the one with less variety on its offering, especially since 3rd parties abandon it, there is no soccer or footbal game, there are no racing sims, no first person shooters and very few plot heavy games.

No I'd love it from Nintendo, I'm just not keen on the idea of buying a system for one game. If Nintendo brought the game to PS4, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but well that ain't happening.
