I do like the sideways compatibility between Xbox One and Xbox One

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

That must be how many people ended with two of the same console last generation...

But it makes no sense to me, getting other consoles it for their libraries, to get access to more games, not the same games (obviously if you have two or more people playing in your home sharing the games makes total sense).

I highly disagree.

I am very satisified with my PS4, but I am in enough of a privileged position to buy a Wii U for side experiences that I would rather not miss.

My choice to go to Universal Studios once in a while doesn't mean that I am dissatisfied with Disney World. Similarly, game consoles are not a zero-sum game for individuals. They can simply be additive.

I know one guy who had 2 PS3's so he could play coop borderlands with all his kids. So in a multi-gamer house indies make sense to have more than one of the same console.
