Halo gears vs Smash Zelda.

I dont see any major MS advantage.

Halo and Gears will be bigger system sellers than Smash Bros and Zelda. Look at how many units Mario Kart moved, (a series much bigger than Smash and Zelda) it wasn't much. It did next to nothing in Japan, and only raised US numbers from 48k to 85k in launch month.

Im sure they give bigger bumps, just wont matter enough over all.

Alaso you hope they are but its far from a sure thing, The fps market is not exactly lacking competition Halo is not what it was and Gears god only knows given its creaters sold it of and now an unproven dev is making the next one.  Only thing sure is MS will whore then out to epic skaces.  But quality wise id actually have to go with SmashZelda.

Even if Halo and Gears face a decline they're still going to move systems. Those franchises have a lot of fans. Again, aside from Smash and Zelda what's going to push the WiiU above XBO? It won't be multiplats that's for sure.

Wont be multis on x1 much either, casue why buy a system for an inferor version ? so it is really a battle of exclusives.

VGCharts "August 9" hardware chart: The Wii U is the only next gen console that make sense. The PS4 sold 50,000 (estimate) in both America and Europe, and 5,000 in Japan. But it sits at roughly 120,000 consoles sold which could mean 15,000 consoles was sold in other (Highly Unlikely). The Xbox One sold 34,000 in the US and 11,000 in Europe which could mean the XOne sold 6,000 consoles in other (Highly Unlikely). I'm starting to think those consoles are over tracked.

Interesting comparison, and i agree. Xbox has become a strong brand in U.S. and strong enough for a lot of consumers to prefer it over Playstation. And since XBone will get the bulk of it's sales from the U.S. it will sell more there than Wii-U total.

No, literally didn't understand it.

I get you now tho, and disagree. Hence sales are as close as they are in the states. That isn't down to Titanfall and Dead Rising. Half of those that buy gaming consoles never visit videogame forums or care about which system has the better looking multiplats, you overestimate how much people care.

LMOA PS4 is only undertracked by 700k

I dont consider getting doubled out sold half the year "close"

Ohh no i dont actually.  Typical avergae joe fool had no idea, but his friend does and will make it known.  And when a few friends are playing the Z version of a game the others follow.  Its a cascading effect if the hardocre know and choose a sise the core follow as do the casual.

Double? Did you read the OP? XB1 WW sales are irrelevent to this topic.

And no, his friend doesn't know or care either. Exclusives, Friends and Price are the 3 king factors when deciding to purchase a console, not frame rate and graphics. As much as you like to believe it is, it isn't.

I'm talking overtracked.

Yes I think you're right. But a majority of X1s sales will come from the USA,  so overall, I don't expect X1 to outsell the Wii U by a huge margin worldwide.

I'm talking overtracked.

VGC shows PS4 at 9.4M sold through to consumers as of August 9th. Sony announced at Gamescom that PS4 has "sold through to Consumers" 10M by August 10th.

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/playstation-4-sells-10-million-units-sony-reveals-/1100-6421671/

If VGC PS4 numbers at this moment in time are ~600k off from that announcement then how could you possibly argue that we have it overtracked?

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
