Yes
Just Dance started on Wii in 2009. Assassin's Creed skipped Wii entirely and premiered on Nintendo home console in 2012, on its fifth major installment.
He's correct though, Wii U owners don't want to buy Assassin's Creed, because Ubisoft has given them no reason to want it.

I bought Assasin's Creed III and 260,000 thousand others did as well. So making Ubisoft 13 million dollars on a cheap port.

and 5,62mil PS3 owners and 4,90mil X360 owners did as well. If I was him sure I would stick with PS/Xbox base and not with Nintendo's

Wait that is it? with both systems selling over a 160 million combined they only combined to sell 10 million copies. Ratio sounds around the same to me. 6.9 million sells 260,000 which is 4 percent of WiiU owners. 165,000,000 sells 10,000,000 which is 6 percent which is a difference of 2 percent not that big of a difference.
It's official. Yves is talking out of his rear end.
If "mature" games don't sell on the Wii U, can he explain how ZombiU has sold nearly double the next best-selling game from the company on the console?
It seems fairly obvious to me. ZombiU and Rayman Legends are the biggest selling games the company has put on the console. It's got nothing to do with the games being "mature", it's a question of them being good games that suit Wii U's uniqueness. I'm not remotely surprised the AC games haven't been huge sellers on the console, given that the series skipped Nintendo consoles for years and the Wii U versions had zero marketing to make sure people knew they existed. I imagine Watch Dogs will suffer an even worse fate since it's coming months after the other versions, and without some of the online features.
If Ubisoft's games aren't selling on a Nintendo console, that's Ubi's fault.

well, it's up to you. But like you said: Mario Kart are doing amazing. So why not not AC? I don't buy another console, but stick with Wii U [and only Wii U] is waste of time. Nintendo gamers don't buy AC, CoD, etc anymore. Is a fact.
