I wonder how many people, that complain about games like FH2 being cross-gen, also felt like MS was giving up on the 360 because they didn´t release any games for it? :)

whatever you (ms in this case) are doing its the wrong thing in some peoples mind :)

Yes its very big diference, miles better on driveclub those water effect but how about the fun factor? how should people know one is better than the other if probably no one played driveclub ?

I played both and saw reactions at Gamescom. Most people played one race at GC when I was there, the driving felt quite strange for many. The game itself feels strange, at least to a bit. The AI is quite aggressive but also rubberband. You are not allowed to leave the track, if you are ever able to because it is really narrow.

Horizon 2 instead people seemed to like more, spent many rounds although it was always the same race.

To me it's a no brainer FH2 will be the game most will have more fun which doesn't mean DC will flop or won't be fun, just not as much. Though I guess many will prefer it because of graphics.

There is no rubber banding AI in DC. I've watched all the Gamescom vids of Driveclub and in all of them a faster car beat the slower car on the straight!

Also Driveclub will have sleet and snow weather as well as rain. Yes! Graphically it's better but both games look very good and play good from what I've seen and read. I'll be buying both!

There is rubberband AI. I intentionally fell behind to take a closer look on graphics in both games and to try to some quirks in the builds and both games had quirks and unfinished textures, even some texture popping.

In both games the AI went slower so I could keep up.

The difference is pretty big. Driveclub simply looks much better. Expect it do better sales and scores wise.

This would be the biggest surprise of the year.

Driveclub looks way better then Forza but I like how in Forza the weather changes from Rain to Sunny & Wet to Sunny and Dry. Does Driveclub weather change like this?

Yes, weather is set to be dynamic.

DriveClub = realistic and boring, and tunnel world
FH2 = unrealistic and beautiful, open world and fun

This post sums up my feelings about the topic pretty well!

i added the bolded for justice

PS. funny that they are both 30 fps and some people still claim there is a gen of technical diff. between the two

How do you know that it's boring though?

It's PS exclusive, it must be boring, poetic.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

there is always the excuse that forza is open world but i dunno,.. that gap is massive.

probably mostly comes down to the developer.  evolution studios is just soo much more talented than turn 10.

Based on what?

There is a difference of nearly 10 points in the average scores of their last 4 games. In Turn 10's favour.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS
