Forums - Nintendo - Who the heck will buy Bayo 2

I'll buy it, and the first game is included in the box (with added content... well mostrly costumes and weapons), so it is 2 games for the price of 1, worth the price, my body is ready for Bayo.

Is this the worst third-party acquisition of all time? Sure sounds like it.

Sounds like someone doesn't have a Wii U.

Haven't we had 678 of these exact same threads already? Get over it.

I just realized, and forgive my slowness, that to acquire the rights to publish a moderately successful niche franchise which was originally published outside your platform is probably the most assanine business decision one could make.

Isn't that like buying a sports team and moving it to a different city, far... far away lol?

In this particular analogy, the team would have to move, or stop playing the same sport altogether. And instead of moving far away, they'd be moving to the other end of town and a dfferent stadium.

In any case, it wouldn't be the first time Nintendo did this. Arika's Deep Blue series was PS2 exclusive until Nintendo decided to publish it as Endless Ocean on Wii. And prior to Xenoblade, there'd never been a Xeno game on a Nintendo system.

It's not not about taking something away from others, but about ensuring the prevalence of good content.

well said. +1

I will!

What if I told you that most ppl who own a Nintendo console (especyaly the early adopters) are gamers that play on more than one console. And what if I told you that the main reason 3rd party games don't sell on Ninty console is not because those who have Ninty console wants to limit themselves to kiddy game but because these 3rd party games are much better and more polished on other consoles that they own.

I will get it if it has good reviews.

I have owned the original on PS3 and Iove the DMC genre, but Bayo 1 is just okay.

I think Bayonetta 2 will most likely  score around 89-91 on Metacritic, so I think you might end up getting it!

I would if I owned a Wii U.

I'm buying it. I preordered it when I saw the game on treehouse. All I was waiting was Bayo1. I didn't get the first one because the PS3 had frame rate problems.

I think its potential million seller on the Wii. Primarily due to lack of noteworthy support.

Also, maybe some people that really loved the first game will buy a Wii U.

Not sure if the game will do well lifetime, but it is worth noting that Bayonetta 2 already has more US preorders alone than The Wonderful 101's first week in every major country.

Well, I like hack'n'slash games and that's a genre that doesn't show much (if at all) on Nintendo consoles, and while I didn't get the first part I tried the demo and I liked it.

So yes, I'll get Bayonetta 2.
