You promise me? You have no idea. You don't even know who the guy is so how would you know how well he is known among Minecraft fans? Let's face it, spurge, you often seem a bit "out of the loop" with stuff that isn't on Nintendo so we can't really assume anything based on you not knowing him.

That's a pretty shitty thing to say. I like Minecraft as much as the next person, but that was a tastless comment.

Well he got 700+ favorites and 200+ retweets for his first post so he gained...humor points? Can't people make jokes without gaining something?

It  has sold usually for $ 20 dollars. Notch never has work again if he chooses being so rich off of one game. Many, many multi-millions and  growing.

Yes, quite a few people know something. Surprise, surprise, I know. Are you saying you and Cone do not belong to that exclusive group?

He made Minecraft. You probably wouldn't like to know, but more people know who Notch is than know who Shigeru Miyamoto is.

But how about the differences in dev cost? Minecraft was made by one guy....

Zuh? Miyamoto has worked on like several huge IP in his lifetime, Notch is a nobody by comparision. Come back to us when he makes 3-4 other IP as big as Minecraft. 

Minecraft is a big hit, but in 5 years, no one will give two craps about it, whereas 30+ years on, Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, etc. are still global icons. 

I hate it when the gamepad flashes. Its kinda annoying.
