And people got mad when Microsoft trys to solve this conundrum securing a few timed exclusives...

ltd ps4 us sales are 38%

april - july 2014  ps4 us sales are just 28%

 

so its eigher ps4 losing stream in the us compared to the rest of the word, or its just the summer drough and holiday us  sales will account for ~45% of world wide ps4 sale to match the overall 38% again.

we know holiday shopping is bigger in the us, than the rest of the world. so this will become very interesting

Will be interesting to see where August takes things with the Destiny bundle stalling people's purchases of the PS4. Might XB1 have a chance to "steal one"?

end of 2013 us ps 4 sales account for ~47% of all ps4 sales
janury - end of march 2014 us ps4 sales account for ~ 32,5% of all ps4 sales including the big japan launch
april - end of july 2014 us ps4 sales account for ~ only 28% of all ps4 sales with abysmal japan sales


lifetime to date us ps4 sales account for about 38% of all ps4 sales

Because NPD's system is: 4 weeks, 4 weeks, 5 weeks, 4 weeks, 4 weeks, 5 weeks etc.

starting at january:

jan: 4 weeks, feb: 4 weeks, mar: 5 weeks, apr: 4 weeks, may: 4 weeks, june: 5 weeks, july: 4 weeks. And so on and so forth.

Hardly see Europe being a whole lot better, it's never been over or under US by a whole lot, probably very similar numbers. And until recently Japan was about 8k a week for WiiU.

How is 10k overtracked in the US (which is minimal) means that the baseline goes from 60-65k most of July to under 50k? Where are you getting this? All the data we have suggests mario kart has been doing great in Europe, and Eurpe is much bigger then Japan.

Didn't we go over this? We know it's overtracked by at least ~300k WW given the shipments

How? Japan is spot on, we know that US numbers were roughly 75-100k over and then where is the other 200k?

november: 4 weeks --> 3rd november to 29th november (28 days special editon xbox one call of duty bundle)

december: 5 weeks --> 1st december to 3rd january
