I think a lot were looking at june (which was 5 weeks) and thought "well this month has TLOUR so the numbers should at least be the same or better", forgetting about that one week less.

Because NPD's system is: 4 weeks, 4 weeks, 5 weeks, 4 weeks, 4 weeks, 5 weeks etc.

starting at january:

jan: 4 weeks, feb: 4 weeks, mar: 5 weeks, apr: 4 weeks, may: 4 weeks, june: 5 weeks, july: 4 weeks. And so on and so forth.


august: 4 weeks --> 4th august to 30th august (5 days xbox one madden bundle)

september: 5 weeks  --> 1st september to 4th october ( 26 days white ps4 destiny bundle)

october: 4 weeks  -->  6th october to 1st november (5 days white xbox one sunset overdrive bundle)

november: 4 weeks --> 3rd november to 29th november (28 days special editon xbox one call of duty bundle)

december: 5 weeks --> 1st december to 3rd january
