Vgchartz really doesn't hype anything for it's gameplay. People on this site are more interested in how well the game is going to sell, or how many consoles the game will move. Not that many people actually care about games for their quality here. 


Nice stealth jab at Wii Fit there.  Also, thanks for the generalization of the entire VGC Wii fanbase--I'm a Wii fan, therefore I hype any game that looks decent, according to you.

Ninja Gaiden 2 doesn't have a lot of hype here.

WKC has been hyped here as THE PS3 RPG to get next to FFXIII so it received consistent attention for months and months in the past. There's really not much to say about it these days until new news comes in.

RE5 has had tons of threads made about it (granted most of those were Wiifans petitioning for a Wii version...).

GT4 has had its ride on the hype mobile. For ages PS3 fans have said that GTA4, FFXIII, and GT5 are the games to watch for the PS3. I think it was overhyped a while back and has been settling down for a while now.

Tales of V... was platform unknown until just recently right? Very little hype could be made for that one. You can't hype a title you know nothing about (literally nothing other than the name). News is now starting to trickle in.

GoW2 has some excited here and it gets its share of the spotlight when big names are thrown around.

I know this site has issued a jihad against EA, but I'm stoked for Army of Two. As long as it doesn't turn out to be a suckfest, I'm sold on that game.

Also, vaporware or not, I'm a huge mark for Sadness.

Some other games off the top of my head:

Alan Wake
Rainbow 6: Vegas 2
Splinter Cell: Conviction

Alan Wake and SC: Conviction occasionally pop up in fanboy exclusivity lists, but typically as afterthoughts.
