Forums - Sony - Yoshida- Some Game Announcements Cut From Gamescom PS4 Getting Big Focus At TGS

It is ever so convenient to say you cut stuff out. I just think they don't have much to show at the moment, hence why there were two sections of indies.

The La- Nahh, No way, It can't be! T_T

So TLG actually was at Gamescom but was cut last moment. I was right after all!

We are entering to the new era of waifu dating simulation.

Cant wait! I always look forward to TGS more than E3 and Gamescom because I prefer to play Japanese games. Can't wait to see what Sony brings for the Ps3, Ps4, and Vita!

Famitsu’s interview led to other points concerning Japan as well. Yoshida mentioned that Sony will be working with other publishers to help increase the userbase in the territory, and he believes Project Morpheus will have content that will be very appealing to the Japanese audience.

This will be interesting seeing as how almost no developers have even adopted their console platform and the whole of the in-house console market there is next to dead. If anything, I'd expect them to actually try and offer some Vita support but even that's floundering under the 3DS. I suspect they'll try to push to some popular RPGs but we've heard next to nothing in terms of games being developed with Japan in mind from Sony and the usual support for their consoles is still happily working with PS3, so... where are these games going to come from?

Project Morpheus will be interesting but, since I like to err on the side of caution, I'm just going to go with him blowing smoke.

I agree on the VR front, there has been a hell of a lot of TV coverage on Oculus Rift here in japan lately, as a result of that there's quite a buzz with gamers about mmorpg / rpg / simulators using the tech in future japanese-centric games.

I'm sure SAO is very relevant to this subject there xD

Sony announce a remake of THE LAST GUADIAN FOR ps4.. and show of demon souls..

while microsoft announced FF XV as exclusive to XBOX ONE.. and KH 3 as first on xbox one probably

How many times has Sony said wait for the next event only to disappoint. Take anything Yoshida says with a grain of salt, well, unless it's "We don't give a sh** about the Vita," then you can believe him.

I kinda wish Sony would just blow their entire load and lay all the cards on the table. Not knowing what half their developers are doing is painful. I guess it is better to ration them all out though instead of just showing the same few games at every show.
