It wasn't boring. This is the first time I've watched and I enjoyed it.

"Weird games". That was pretty funny.
"No price cuts", there was one two months ago.
And the PS4 won't drop in price when it's selling so well.

What is happening to gaming ? It has evolved into something more than arcade machines.
This Gamescom didn't suck. At all.

Microsoft was solid from start to finish.

As for the PS3, it's done well enough, they don't need to focus on it anymore. The 8th gen needs all the attention it can get, it's being picked up way too slow. The vita though, there's no excuse for that. Announcing a Vita exclusive, one that was designed to take advantage of unique Vita features, to be remade and redesigned for the PS4? It's clear now, they really don't give a shit about the Vita.

I feel you on Square Enix. Hey, you think it was bad when they made Final Fantasy a multi-plat? Imagine what it was like for Nintendo fans when Final Fantasy, which used to be Nintendo exclusive, didn't go multi-plat but just switched sides altogether! But I got used to it, and then they switched to be multi-plat, but not with Nintendo! How many times did they need to give the middle finger to an old partner like that? So while I think it's total bullshit that they're making Tomb Raider exclusive to the system it sells second best on, I'm not surprised. It will never cease to piss me off, however, when a company uses that "they're a great partner" PR spin bullshit. Well, it's their loss, right? If they want to shoot their own franchise in the foot, it's their choice right? Ultimately, as much as Playstation helped Tomb Raider, being multi-plat was best for the franchise, you have to admit. So to go exclusive again, and on top of that to do so on the platform with the smaller Tomb Raider fanbase, is just going to hurt Tomb Raider. It shows us two things: That Microsoft paid them a LOT of money (nothing unusual there), and that Square Enix is a very short-sighted company (something that's pretty well established at this point). I too am sick of Square Enix as a company, though I do love some of their franchises enough not to care who makes them.

And we all get depressed as gamers sometimes. I've been there, I know exactly what you mean. Last year was pretty depressing for Wii U owners, delays everywhere, 3DS getting all of Nintendo's attention, the gamepad we paid so much for getting ignored. Now it's Sony fan's turn. Sure, sales are good, but the game selection isn't. I probably won't get a PS4 until Final Fantasy or KH3 come out, though maybe No Man's Sky combined with a price drop could persuade me. That said, just be patient, this will pass. By this time next year, I guarantee you won't be depressed about gaming anymore.

Bloodborne and Dead Island 2 looks great though
