I wouldnt call it a game changer but rather a great deal! Its still not exactly a zomg reason to get an x1 but if u do have one or are planning to get one, its a great deal

YAhh im sure this being Ea nothing about this service will be a "great deal" dont kid your self.

It's amusing what a one off comment about EA Access being a "game changer" can do.... first off.. you are all speculating what he meant.. He said NOTHING about it being a "game changer" for Xbox One selling more devices.. after saying "game changer" he went on explaining how the service worked.. It is more likely he was talking about the "service" itself being a GAME CHANGER for the industry and not even really considering anything related to selling Xbox Ones.. if you listen to the podcast.. this is pretty evident.

In reality it could be.. as we have all speculated.. if UbiSoft, Activision, Take-Two, etc ALL do something similar.. then it would exactly mean that EA Access was a "GAME CHANGER". As they all would follow EA and do something similar..

Amazes me how out of touch MS still is, a game changer?? LMAO, no not even close, no one will be buying x1's over ps4's for a couple old EA games and another sub on top of live, seriously deluded MS are, just like they thought everyone wanted kinect , always online, now it's ea access.

You gotta remember, this is Major Nelson... He always says ridiculous things and no one really likes him

Two things.. Major Nelson didn't say this.. and second.. Jeff said nothing about it selling Xbox Ones..  he was more likely talking about the service related to the Game Industry and nothing more..    after he said it was a "game changer" he simply explained how the service worked.

It was actually some other senior Xbox Live guy that said it was a game changer. But I agree about Major Nelson.

Given all the games in the Vault will be back catalog games I think it's nice for getting people to play their B-list games. But EA still needs to make its revenue off people paying full price for its AAA new releases so it can't be a game changer for Xb one.

However it could be a game changer in terms of bringing in publisher based subs. So EA might be ushering in a new era of people paying multiple subscriptions to several publishers to get access to each publisher's back catalog.

I don't see EA keeping it off PC for long. And even though I agree with Sony that it doesn't really represent much value I think it'll come to PS eventually, as long as EA agrees to continue to allow their games to feature in PSN+.

That was the problem? I thought Sony didn't want it because it competes with PS+.

I dunno how games with gold works, but doesn't EA access compete with games with gold in the same or similar way?
