200k in Japan, maybe. Outside of Japan - no idea, but probably not well considering that Symphonia is the only "success" story.

Blue Dragon has sold 460k so far... and it was a new IP
Tales is a well recognized JRPG... it could hit 500k with good marketing
Man, this niche bullshit is being beat to death. Tales of' is not niche, not with those numbers. Games that sell hundreds of thousands in Japan alone are not niche.

Well, Eternal Sonata pulled in about 80 k in Japan being a new IP. Tales should be able to hit 100-110k and about 275-300k WW

You know this is for 360 right?

No way this game will sell more than 100k in Japan when not even Tales of Innocence is able to sell more than 250k on the DS.
I'm not sure about the west though, if the game is a real good entry in the series it may make it to 500k with great NA sales.
Doesn't the Wii already have two Tales games in development? Why are some people mad that the 360 is getting one?
