Forums - Sony - Sony being sued over Killzone not being 1080p.

I bet sony will quit trying to fuel the resolution war now with their lies.

1st- Shahid Kamal-Give me 1080p 60fps or give me death
2nd- Sony says KZSF is native 1080p 60fps for both sp and mp
3rd-Sony says watchdogs will be the only console running Watch Dogs at 1080p 60fps

What Zekkyou said. Sony said that SP would run on 30 fps and we got the SP running 30 fps that sometimes goes higher than that. MP runs on 1080p, but GG took achieved that through non traditional means. Just because the methods were different doesn't mean that the res was not 1080p.

The only one who's lying is you. I suggest that you research the facts first before posting false statements.

Imagine if the guy wins it...

Then next people would be suing anybody that killed them in a multiplayer game

People are already SWAT teams, suing is the next step

Has anyone looked at the back of game case? Does it say 1080p or 1080i or does it specify for both?

There is also a difference between whether it's rendered at 1080p and whether it's displayed.

Besides he might have looked at the back of the case, hopped on multiplayer and seen 1080i (some TVs will display when a resolution change has happened)

Every PS4 case says 1080p, even for games we know are not 1080p.

I think the difference here and this guys issue is Sony advertised and marketed the MP as native 1080p, which it isn't.

I can confirm I just did some research and that I am suing every publisher who has released a game without fully stable framerate kappa

Nooo.. we'll make a class action lawsuit... much easier... we'll start with Bethesda
When we are done with them we all will probably have a nice retirement in some sunny country..

Yep we'll retire on our $20 bucks each unless your  the  NiKKoM  "no win no pay" Law firm.

Just go on a forum and post "FU Sony" like a normal person...

Extremely petty suit that will achieve nothing. That's all I gotta say.

GG already explained in depth the techniques they used for Killzone Shadowfall's MP. The people who filed the classaction obviously failed to do their research before jumping the gun.

On my Killzone sf case it states HD video output 480P-720P-1080i-1080P , also some people have said it's not what's on the case but that sony advertised it as native 1080 P , my arguement against that is no killzone adds I saw specifically alluded to Mp being native 1080 P , also if a Sony blogger or spokesman did that doesn't constitute advertising.

So all those 7th gen game box that stated 1080p output should be sue too since most of them were upscaled...??

The resolutions listed on the back of PS4 (and PS3) games is just what the game can be displayed as on your TV. If it can be upscaled to 1080p or downscaled to something lower then those resolutions are listed. That's why it says "video output". For example the back of I:SS's case lists 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p. Likewise TLOU:R lists 720p and 1080p.

MS do the same thing with 360 games. For some reason X1 boxes don't list anything at all.
