And to think i still haven`t played the famous Super Metroid... Haven`t played Metroid 2 or Hunters, but Super Metroid is the most important one.

Hope Wii U sales don`t mean we won`t see a new Metroid game this generation.

Happy birthday!

The original Metroid, while not as revolutionary as Super Mario Bros. or The Legend of Zelda, was still highly influential. It was one of the first games to feature a password save and multiple endings, and it spawned one of the all-time great video game franchises.

Here's hoping for new games on 3DS and WiiU soon!

This reminds me to finish Metroid Prime 2 in Metroid Prime Trilogy, but every time I go back to it I replay the first Prime or Corruption instead

I really need to get Super Metroid on VC too! Smash Bros. Wii U and the digital deluxe promotion should let me get it before New Years though.
