You can also choose to read it as "I don't like these games so they don't matter!  The only thing companies should be putting out is games I wanna play! <insert whining noises here>"

Oh, it is! Then I can't understand why he discredited it at all. I also wonder what's wrong with Borderlands the pre-sequel, besides the fact It's multiplat. Saying that there are no games and that there are no games that appeal to you are two different things. Now the OP says there are no games, and he bluntly ignores the fact that It's at the start of a new generation so it will be slower than normal. Also from that list a user posted we can see that there is a ton of games both released and upcoming for 2014, which he discredits by saying that It's all DLC (whith the only DLC on the list being First light, which is a standalone DLC getting a retail release) and shovelware.

@op how many games forces you to always be online versus how many games don't?

It was ok but the second half of 2014 looks alot better even with all the remakes. 2015 should be good too. Also how can we complain? We were spoilt by the games that came out in recent years, especially in 2012 and 2013.

Not sure why you are listing these as bad games. Sure, we haven't really had that next gen killer app yet, but you guys need to be patient.


i wasnt listing them as bad games at all. theyre great games, thats why i listed them. the games i listed were the only real noteworthy titles for the first half. and it was really barren. honestly, thief was a huge flop so it shouldnt even be listed.

Are you all 12?  Can people in this thread stop with the "whining" narrative?  He has an unpopular opinion, he's using the term shovelware out of context.  Correct him and respect him as a human being.

Respecting someone and saying they are whining are not mutually exclusive.  Based on the attitude presented regarding the "lack of games" I call it whining.
