Oh, nice! It seems Dolphin emulator is finally ported to Ps3/4/X360/1.

Not to WiiU though and gladly not everyone is a hacker. This is great news, i'll be getting this at release on PS4.

Zero's a good shout. That had potential, imagine an online enabled version.

that's what i thought! seriously switching 2 characters at a time can be annoying and dragging

Though I enjoy RE1, I was hoping they´d announce a new RE in the spirit of the original trilogy, and not this remaster, which doesn´t even seem like they´re putting much effort in.

They have to be working on a new RE too, right?

So far what have Capcom announced for this generation?..Deep Down, a digital only title, this remaster, another digital only title..what else?...what are they doing?..what happened to them?...why do they seem to have so few projects?

apparently back then RE6 sales were lower than they expected. And DMC reboot doesn't get much attention from the fans.

Not to mention lately they are looking for new shareholders so maybe they need more budget to do more projects.

they should remake RE2 and 3 instead *sigh*
or at least Zero

Seeing a lot of comments like this here.  I think they are probably planning to remake the entire series, starting with this one, for the newer platforms.  Of course, that is provided this one sells well.  Video games have apparently hit that age where it is now cool to remake everything from instant classics (TLOU), to actual classics (RE1).

Wouldn't work.  The games design wasn't intended for it.

Your no doubt right but maybe they could have reworked it? You know, actually put some effort in an done a 'remake'.

I didn't play Zero enough to know tbh, I'm just a bit frustrated with the current lazy re-release situation we're in.

I loved Last of Us and Tomb Raider but I'm not gonna shell out a few hundred pounds to play them again in 1080p. PS3 re-releases were bad enough but at least they were in collections.

I understand the need to fill gaps but man, where are the new games at?

That's not widescreen, that's zoom. Luckily it's optional, dumbest implementation of widescreen. So I guess the original assets for the pre-rendered backgrounds are long gone. It's not looking that good either. I guess no wonder after the botched Silent Hill HD collection.

Yes finally! i have it on my Wii and i don't really like the controls.

Oh my, first I was excited for this but seeing they only upscaled the background makes me incredible worried. Will have to wait for user impressions and tons of screenshot captured from the videogames to decide about buying it or not.
