well...........it has settled into selling less than the wii u weekly. even the people wishing for it's failure was giving them the 2nd place trophy before hand, now it looks like it will finish 3rd.....
but yeah it is a successful console bringing $$$ to it's creators and enjoyment to the portion of gamers that chose to buy it.

Just because A is doing great, doesn't mean B is doing poor.
I'm not claiming X1 is going to be the top selling console this gen, I'm just pointing out it won't be financial disaster like PS3 or get pushed aside like Vita.
X1 can still be a successful platform and that isn't spin. You probably consider the PS3 successful, but it lost much the PS2's market share and hurt Sony financially.

Fact, Its doing worse then PS3.
Reality is its not a succesfull platform and nothing at all about the sales over the past 6 months shown any inkling it still can be one no matter how much you hope and spin things. But keep hoping, facts and real world numbers show otherwise.

But if you look at the lines, the ps3 started at a lower launch and got to the high point much quicker, while the x1 started with a higher launch and is climbing much slower to the point the ps3 already beat it at the same point and time. So having the higher lines means nothing if is going up a lot slower and everibody else is passing it.

Oh I see, so by a "hell of a lot better"..."at the start" what you really meant was "just now barely selling more than".

PS3 also bled a lot of money. Something I don't believe X1 is doing.

Xbox has always lost money, X1 with kinect unbundling likely will be a black hole. Hell how many millions did MS blow on controller alone. Just a overall bad investment given X1 low and falling sales. X1 is nearing titanic failure for MS, PS3 still did more then any xbox ever has or will.
Soon enough people will be questioning can X1 pass the original xbox sales given its constant market failures.
X1 has no relevance now nor will it. It pretty mush lost all that in a single hour at E3. This gen is nearing over for it, relevent is a pie in the sky possability for it now. Look at its sales it been down hill since the strong launch. Its looking like it may end up in a DC situation where it started strong but just fell apart soon after. Nothing about its sales shows anything posative nor anything that may support future relevence.
