I overpredicted on Pinsir, was expecting you to try and burn me with Scald. Should have not Mega evolved and went for Swords Dance.

I actually thought you would go for the kill with a powerfull move w/o mega evolving, your team has such good coverage that i considered it was a lost cause and dind't have any choice but to go for ice beam expecting to do the most possible damage/a miracle, fortunately for me it was the second

So... Slarvax wants another one this next weekend, but I was actually thinking about doing something different - I was thinking about a long tournament, in which everyone would play each other and get points based on the results. After all the matches had been played, there would be a ranking, and the first 4 players would proceed to a knockout round that would decide the winner.

This would last for probably at least 2-3 weeks depending on how many people would join.

Regardless of which one we choose though, I think I want to change the format so that knockout matches are only decided once one of the players wins 2 battles instead of just 1.

Even tho i think quick attack had a chance of killing Greninja if he hadn't mega evolve and instead wen't for the risky kill or Swords Dance it was game over for me.

 

On the tournamest i have a couple of things, we should keep track of the winners and make this (at least) a monthly thing and at the end of the year have a great final with the two who won the most! - Also we should have scheduled days to play each phase with previous agreement before the tournament starts to make sure everyone can play and at the same time move on steadily and keep some order, we could also do different formats for every tournament and of course get more people in!

I agree with everything you said. Problem is if people lose interest, this will become anarchy (it happened in Nintendomination), so I stand by doing it this weekend.
And I would prefer the long one, since it feels more deserving.
