This is how it helps a new game. Please read it as you seem to have missed it.
"The tricks and lessons learnt during the development of The Last of Us: Remastered will mean that the next game from Naughty Dog will arrive sooner than it would have done. That next game, lest you forget, will most likely be Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. "Every single one of our game releases always benefits the next," community strategist Arne Meyer told CVG. "We work under such an iterative process that our technology either informs future decisions or, as has been the case of with Uncharted, once we take care of one aspect we move on to another, like how we did water, then snow and sand. "We're always building on top of what we've done previously, and The Last of Us: Remastered is probably one of the more concrete examples in a way. We're making this in a way that benefits our PS4 tools pipeline so that we can have a good head start on our next, full PS4 game."
@underlined, by itself no, but it may be an incentive that pushes a purchase for someone. |
So people have to pay 50$ for their lessons on how to make games for the PS4? Nice...

its probably the best game of all time. its going to have its fans defending it against stupidity.

So you think us that are against remasters like this are stupid?
Thanks for that...
the-pi-guy said:
Once again. Did those 50$ fall out of your wallet? It is a lesson, and giving those fans what they want, and giving those people a chance to play an awesome game that they missed. |
People also wants The Last Guardian...

no. the baseless bashing is.
Fact number 1: TLoU helps naughty dog with creating uncharted and getting to know the PS4
Fact number 2: it gives a chance for people who didnt own a ps3 and own a PS4 (which are ALOT) the chance to play probably the best game of all time
Fact number 3: it helps better the PS4 line up
Fact number 4: it gives a chance for the die hard fans to play their favorite game in the best possible version, they have more choices, which last time i remember was a good thing.
fact number 5: actual fans want the game.
who ever is in dispute of those facts and bashing the game without any found reason is doing so out of hate, despise for the game and anti fanboyism for the console/game, which is in all retrospect quite honestly a stupid thing to do.
the-pi-guy said:
How does this affect that in any way, shape or form? |
What people want is irrelevant. The product itself is not needed. Some people want war, doesnt mean its good to provide it.

1. If it helps them out so much, then maybe give the people who already bought it on the PS3 a discount? Since it was more of a thing they did to understand the PS4 architecture more.
2. They can still buy a PS3 and the game.
3. Not really, no.
4. More choices like what exactly? Playing it at a higher resolution and framerate? The PS3 version won 200 GOTY awards, it was very playable.
5. Actual fans have the game.
