First in sales I think it will be destiny due to major hype. Second in sales will be Cod selling slightly less then destiny. Third will be far cry 4 with good sales though nothing surprising. Fourth will be Evolve since I had never even heared of it before this thread.
Best in sales:
Destiny > CoD > Far Cry > Evolve
Metacritic
Destiny 93%
Far Cry 88%
CoD 87%
Evolve 84%

12 million lifetime for Halo MCC? That's more than Halo 4.

-Halo 4 isn't done selling yet, it's still gowing steadily. -This is a collection of all 4 main Halo games so far for a good price. Pretty much every Halo fan who buys an Xbox One at some point this generation will also get Halo MCC at some point. Also, don't forget that Microsoft is hoping to bring new fans to the series with the Steven Spielberg Halo tv show that will air on Showtime, if they succeed, some of those new fans will likely get an Xbox One and Halo MCC at some point this generation. |
But isn't 12m way too high? Your prediction would mean that the MCC will outsell every single other Halo game.
i dont realy care about any of those games, sure, farcry will be nice, but i can wait till steamsale.
evolve looks a bit like another game i have on steam where u can play alien beasts. but i cant remember the name...

Halo 3 is at 12m and still slowly growing and Halo 4 will reach 12m at some point since it's still steadily growing. In other words, the Halo gaming fanbase is already at 12m. Even if some current Halo fans don't migrate to the Xbox One because they're only casual Halo fans, Microsoft can potentially replace them by luring in new fans via the Steven Spielberg Halo tv show. If people who aren't already familiar with Halo watch the show on Showtime and like it, some of them may want to try the games, and Halo: MCC is a logical choice for them to experience the games, since it's 4 Halo games in a single collection for a good price. So yeah, by 2018 when this generation will likely end, I could see Halo: MCC hitting 12m. |
I don't know. 12m is way too high. I'd say the Halo fanbase is at around 9m since that's the amount that bought Halo 4. I think the game will sell a maximum of 5m copies.
The Halo TV show will probably average around 1-2m viewers and most watching will be Halo fans so I doubt that will increase the fanbase. The reason why I think the show won't get high ratings is because Sci-fi shows rarely ever rate well.
IDK, ever since I left high school I've generally been bored with fpses as of late.
The last COD I bought was BO, and that might have been the last shooter I got.
Destiny was fun, but even then I wasn't compelled to play it much of the beta. In contrast, I played GTA V Online for about 12 hours straight today and quit because I was tired, and I got what I wanted. Before that, while I still had my FFXIV ARR subscription that was literally all I played, wake up play go to sleep, unless I had work that day then I play it afterwards.
Couldn't stand Blacklight Retribution for more than an hour and KZ:SF free multiplayer weekend was fine, but wasn't really notable for me.
Part of the problem is that I love stealth and sniping, and fps multiplayers tend to overlock that.
However, thats just me.
Sales will be medium to high with Sales being distrubted across the FPS games, so probably the lowest COD so far or equal to Ghosts, but it might still beat Destiny.
I'd say 60 - 40 in favor of COD.

Eh, it will probably end up somewhere between your predictions. The mcc collection will probably be one of the most leggy games on the x1. It will keep selling throughout the gen. Also, i doubt the tv show will really bring in many fans.
