Multi format makes sense unless all dev costs are covered by the platform holder.

It is! I dunno how M$ let things get away from them so much this gen. At least they're slightly starting to turn things around. As an exclusively PC gamer, I much prefer M$ "exclusives" to Sony exclusives, if you know what I mean.
