I wonder what would happen if Spotify would like to launch on ps4 and Sony would say: We have music unlimited, Spotify doesn't represent good value for Playstation gamers..

Does Spotify own the music and content on their website? if no, then your analogy doesnt make any sense.

It makes perfect sense you're just splitting hairs.

I'm not sure what phaedruss was trying to get at, but there is an issue with your analogy. The release of Spotify on the psn wouldn't affect what music is available within Music Unlimited thus devalueing it. Releasing EA's subscription service would garuntee that ps+ never got another EA game, and it opens up the gate for more publishers to do the same.

Yep Sony is starting to show their bad side. Their response to EA Access was arrogant and salty as hell. Not to mention it is so blatantly obvious that they don't want the competition to PSNow.

Would MS want a direct competition of thier item on thier own system?

Why are people acting suprised that Sony want to control their own stuff?

Your MS fans actually sound really salty yourselves.

MS wouldn't but people would automatically shout from the rooftops if MS had done what Sony is doing now. The double standard is stunning. I'm not a fan of MS by the way, this has nothing to do with MS, we're talking about Sony. Stop muddying the waters.

lol now you are just projecting....

and even if people do sound their disappointments from the "rooftops" it is because MS at the point as earned their disapprovals. People would rather they continue trying to fix the relationship they hve with gamers than trying to monopolies something else. It does not seem fair, but MS did put themselves in this situation.

Last thing we need is every pub have subs on top of PS plus and live....I hope A access bombs hard. It's like 5 games, yuo will be getting old agems you can get for 5 bucks on EA access with very limited catalouge

Umm it's sony's platform...they can do what they want like MS can windows, Google Android storwe...etc..... It's how it works. Valve and steam.

Lol ok if you want to believe that. Tell me it's ok when MS no longer allows you to use Steam on your windows pc.

And? So what? It would offer more competition to those services.

Some people seem to believe MS owns the PCs that run Windows.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

My point is that just because it's a console doesn't mean it's ok. MS could easily control what runs on windows if they wanted to, but they allow it to remain an open platform.
