This product should be something totally removed from gaming IMO. So much so that maybe it doesn't even have to have the Nintendo logo on it, it can just be a new brand entirely.
In fact if it's something the average gamer has no interest in -- that's a good thing.
The whole *point* is to diversify Nintendo's business.
The average Playstation player doesn't give a crap about Sony's insurance business, but that insurance business has kept the company afloat through a disastrous decade financially.
Nintendo needs other divisions that are far removed from gaming that can make them money when times are tough (like they are now).
The worst thing it could be IMO would just be a retread of Wii Fit. That idea has come and gone and there's ton of competetion in the fitness field.
